Jeremy Gooding President, CEO

Jeremy L. Gooding is President and CEO of Stevens Pierce & Associates, CPA’S. With more than 18 years of public accounting experience, he works in the areas of creation and review of financial statements, income tax compliance, and consulting services. His experience extends to serve a variety of client types, including estates, trusts, individuals, privately held companies, family-owned businesses, consolidated corporations, and multi-state operations. Jeremy also has vast expertise in retail, farming, manufacturing, auto dealerships, hospitality, and professional services. Jeremy holds the CPA designation and is a member of the Idaho Society of CPAs and the American Society of CPAs.

He completed his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting (Internal Audit Option) at Boise State University. Prior to joining Stevens Pierce & Associates, CPA’S, Jeremy spent eleven years with Balukoff, Lindstrom & Co., PA (which was later acquired by Eide Bailly, LLP). In 2014, Jeremy purchased the firm from Ruth.

Jeremy has a passion for efficiency and client service. Paired together with his strong technological skills, it allows him to ensure that our clients and firm are successful.

His philosophy is that life is about the journey, not the destination. He enjoys a variety of activities outside the office including spending time with family and friends, community activities, music, playing the guitar, and spending time outdoors.

Jeff is known as a “Jeff of all trades” at Stevens Pierce & Associates, CPA’S.

Jeff Gooding has lived in the Magic Valley since 1961. His family roots in the valley go back to the 1870s. Yes, it is his family that the town and county are named after. He and his wife Paula have two grown sons and seven grandchildren. They have resided in Twin Falls since 1977.

Jeff is a graduate of Valley High School and Boise State University. He has been a CPA since September 1977. He got his start in the construction/real estate business working for a real estate developer in Hailey in 1975. He has extensive experience in construction and rental accounting systems, as well as cost and payroll accounting controls and analysis. He has prepared countless tax returns with several local firms during tax seasons throughout his career.

Jeff has served as a member of many local organizations including the Valley House Coalition, Paradise Point, Camp Sawtooth, Twin Falls Planning and Zoning Commission, Twin Falls Optimists, Magic Valley Drug Free Workplace Project, Twin Falls Student Advisory Council, Twin Falls Senior Center, Idaho State Bar Arbitration, Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce Business Plus II Treasurer, Magic Valley Builders Association, Idaho State Builders Association as well as the National Association of Home Builders.

Jeff served as an original Director of Magic Valley Bank from its founding in 1997 until its merger with Panhandle State Bank in 2004. He was involved in the construction industry from 1975 until 2013.

Jeff was elected to the Twin Falls City Council in 1993 and served one term. The council appointed him Mayor for 1996 and 1997. He was also elected to serve on the board of directors of the Idaho Association of Cities during his tenure. The Twin Falls City Council enacted the Canyon Rim and Rim Trails ordinance during that time and laid the foundation for Economic Development that we are seeing the fruits of today.

Heather Keeble Office Manager

Heather pulls double-duty as Receptionist and Office Manager for Stevens Pierce & Associates, CPA’S. She started our firm after moving to Twin Falls from Boise where she worked for a CPA firm. She has over seven years of experience with what makes a CPA firm run smoothly. She is an integral part of our team and assists with every step of the process.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and reading.
